Pengyao Niu (牛鹏耀)

I studied at Southeast University until 2026 and joined the ARTE Group in spring 2026.

My primary research interests lie in modeling the laws governing light propagation and, based on this, achieving high-precision scene characterization, supervised by Professor Prof. Tong Zhang.

Prior to joining ARTE, my research focused on FDTD-based electromagnetic modeling and simulation, as well as the design of light-modulated liquid crystal metasurface devices.

Currently, I am working on 3D reconstruction using polarized light. I look forward to hearing from you and discussing further.
